Ziggy von Zittau is a wonderful, large 2 year old German Shepherd with a touch of Lab. Ziggy was adopted from us as a puppy but sadly his family lost their home and can no longer keep him. They have nothing but good things to say about him, read below. (His name is now Coda)

Excellent with people, amazing with children.  We have a 5 and 7 yr old and he is just a sweetheart with them.  Never growls, snaps or even flinches and the kids climb on him and pull his tail.  He has grown up with another dog in our family since we got him and they play and sleep together.  He has not been around cats at all.
Coda is an amazing dog.  He is very smart and just the sweetest thing.  He is a total love bug and doesn’t realize he is so big, he thinks he is a lap dog.  He is protective of our family and home, but not at all aggressive.  I work from home and he lies in the office under my desk all day.  He sleeps indoors and is inside most of the time.  At night he sleeps in the hallway right between all the bedrooms, like he is protecting everyone.  He loves to play with a tennis ball and will entertain himself for hours by playing ‘soccer’ with it around the house or outside.  He also loves any other kind of toys (especially squeaky).  He is really good about not touching the kids toys though.    He does not bark while in the house unless he hears something very suspicious outside.
